Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree

This year we debated whether or not we should get a Christmas tree. We are going to drive up to Seattle the day before Christmas Eve and probably won’t come home until New Year’s Eve, so we wouldn’t really be home much to enjoy it. But I’ve always liked having a tree so I decided I’d get us at least a small one. The problem is, I like big trees. And we have high ceilings so a small tree looks even smaller in our living room. Luckily I found a very special tree that is perfect for what we wanted. It’s nice and tall, standing 7 feet, but it’s uniquely compact.

I love this Christmas tree! #perfect

One of the main reasons I like having a Christmas tree is because I like to put up the ornaments I’ve been collecting over the years on my travels. I thought it’d be fun to share some photos of my ornaments.

World of Coca Cola, Atlanta

Paris, France

The Marine Mammal Center, Sausalito

I can't remember. Mexico? Arizona?

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Yosemite National Park

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Maui, Hawaii

Sydney, Australia

CNN Center, Atlanta

We will be sure to pick up a new ornament or two on the road trip to Seattle over our break. Happy holidays!
