There are many things you could choose to do that takes up 3 hours of your day. You could roast a 6 lb. turkey. You could watch Braveheart or Dances with Wolves. You could get your notary license.
One thing you probably wouldn’t want to do in 3 hours is run 18 miles — which is miraculously what I did last Friday as part of my marathon training. It was painful and exhausting, and as expected, had me questioning why on earth I want to run 26.2 miles. Thankfully, I’m only halfway through my training schedule because the thought of running 8 more miles after my run on Friday would have been out of the question.
