29 Days of Giving: Day 5 – Leftover pastries to homeless

Every Friday at work we get a Noah’s bagel and pastry delivery. Since James left no one eats the sugary supercharged saturated fat-filled pastries (we go for the fatty cream cheese-topped bagels instead), so we always have a bag of muffins and cake things left at the end of the day. I don’t know what usually happens with these buy I decided to give them to a homeless person after work. Lindsey tried to tell me this didn’t count in the Giving Challenge because they are Racepoint’s pastries. This reminded me that I don’t listen to people from the Outer East Bay.

Anyway… Mission complete. I dropped the goods off with two homeless-looking people sitting outside the BART station. Come to think of it, they may not have even been homeless, bit they did at least look it.
