29 Days of Giving: Day 1 – Pug rescue donation

Today I officially started the 29-Day Giving Challenge with a $20 donation to the Pug Rescue of Sacramento. While I don’t plan on donating $20 every day for the next 29 days, I did feel compelled to be extra generous (if $20 is really extra generous) to an organization that is helping sad, lonely pug friends find homes. And if Booger could speak English I’m sure he’d tell me to help his friends out. And just in case you have no compassion, here’s one of the pugs available for adoption:

My name is Clara, and I’m an approximately 6 yr old black female who was put in a night drop box at a shelter. I’m an active girl and very sweet. I guess my owner didn’t want me anymore. Everyone says I’m friendly and cheerful and looking for my forever home.
