Crack dunes and a crack city

Goodbye, New Mexico. Hello, Texas.

We were planning on staying in El Paso tonight but due to it’s high levels of crapiness we are going to keep on going and get ourselves a little closer to Austin. We drove along the U.S.-Mexico border for a few miles looking for illegal aliens to pick up, but no such luck.

Earlier today, after T or C, we sped off to White Sands National Monument, probably my favorite NP thus far (out of four, with no more planned). The dunes were a little smaller than I anticipated but cool nonetheless.

Not sure how far we’ll go tonight but I’m looking forward to getting deeper into Dubyah-country. Yeehaw!

Miles gone: 1,884
Number of times Meagan has asked if we were going to wrong way: 13
Number of times we have been going the wrong way: 0
