• has lived in two states: Michigan and California

• received his undergraduate education at a land grant university
• has voted in two presidential elections (2004 & 2008)
• left the country for the first time in August 1995 when he went to Canada with his parents… for about 15 minutes
• last left the country in February 2011 when he visited Barcelona for work
• grew up in a town with 7,000 people
• forgot his locker combination multiple times throughout high school
• has had the following as pets: dogs, cats, fish, teddy bear hamsters, parakeets and hermit crabs
• has seen Stonehenge, the Great Barrier Reef, Tower Bridge, the Eiffel Tower and Kinkaku-ji
• was present at AT&T Park when Barry Bonds hit his 756th (record-breaking) home run
• attended the Cold War ice hockey game at Spartan Stadium between Michigan & Michigan State, which briefly held sport’s all-time attendance world record.
• has stood on top of multiple volcanoes
• loves Big Brother and Survivor
• loves skyscrapers and thinks Hong Kong has the greatest skyline in the world
• loves to sleep in a tent
